Alex Taylor

Alex Taylor is a journalist, presenter, and speaker whom the French public fondly nicknames "Mr. Europe." Born in Cornwall, a graduate of Oxford, he moved to Paris in the 1980s, where he taught English at the École Normale Supérieure and at the Sorbonne. From the very beginning, he made interculturality and languages a way of life, blending pedagogy, curiosity, and humor. His media career began on France Inter where he hosted shows for 30 years, notably the European press review and then established himself with the program "Continentales" on France 3 – an innovative show compiling European television news in its original version. This bold concept revealed to the general public his talent as a presenter and his European flair. He then worked for France Musique, Arte, Euronews, TV5 Monde, La Chaîne Parlementaire, and Europe 1, while also managing the programs of RFI.
