How We Select Your Speakers: Our 4-Step Process

Finding a keynote speaker is easy. Finding the right one — who understands your stakes, engages your audience, and leaves a lasting mark — takes a method. After more than ten years in the business and 1,000+ engagements placed, here is the four-step process we apply to every single request.

Step 1 — Needs analysis: we listen before we propose

Everything starts with listening. Before mentioning a single name, we work to understand:

  • The objective: inspire, train, unite, trigger awareness?
  • The audience: executives, managers, field teams? 50 people or 2,000?
  • The theme: leadership, artificial intelligence, motivation, change management — our catalogue covers 180+ topics.
  • The format: keynote, panel, workshop, full seminar facilitation.

This step prevents the market's most common mistake: picking a famous name before defining what the event is supposed to achieve.

Step 2 — Selection: three profiles, not thirty

From the brief, we shortlist three speakers — not an endless list that pushes the sorting work back onto you. Each profile is chosen on four criteria: availability on your date, ability to engage your audience, fees against your budget, and reliability throughout preparation.

We only propose speakers we know personally, have seen on stage, and trust. A 30-minute interview with the shortlisted speaker then lets you validate the choice in real conditions: the chemistry works, or it doesn't — and you know before signing.

Step 3 — Booking and contract: a framework that protects your event

Once your choice is made, we secure the date and formalize everything in a single contract: scope of the engagement, terms, expenses, recording rights if needed. You have one point of contact and one document — no direct negotiation with the speaker, no grey areas, no surprises a week before the event.

Step 4 — Preparation and debrief: the invisible work that makes the difference

This is the step nobody sees on stage, and it's what separates a decent talk from a memorable one:

  • Alignment meetings between your teams and the speaker: company context, internal vocabulary, topics to address — or to avoid.
  • Content validation: structure, key messages, fit with the rest of your programme.
  • Post-event debrief: your audience's feedback, the speaker's perspective, lessons for your next events.

This end-to-end follow-through is why most of our clients come back — and why speakers enjoy working with us: everyone arrives prepared, nobody improvises.
