A physician, entrepreneur, and futurist, Laurent Alexandre analyzes the consequences of artificial intelligence and exponential technologies for businesses, skills, and the future of society.

From medicine to the digital revolution

Originally trained as a urological surgeon, Laurent Alexandre is also a graduate of Sciences Po, HEC Paris, and the École nationale d'administration. In 1999, he co-founded Doctissimo, one of France's first major online health platforms, before leading DNAVision, a company specializing in DNA sequencing.

This career at the intersection of medicine, entrepreneurship, and digital technology enabled him to identify early the convergence of artificial intelligence, genetics, computing, and biotechnology.

Understanding the intelligence war

For more than fifteen years, Laurent Alexandre has highlighted the accelerating capabilities of artificial intelligence. In his view, AI is no longer merely an IT tool: it has become a strategic issue transforming production, decision-making, education, and the balance of power between nations.
