Ogma-Events is an agency specializing in the consulting, management, and selection of keynote speakers, journalists, hosts, and trainers, with a clear ambition: to create high-impact intellectual and human encounters. With more than ten years of experience and over 1,000 speakers placed, the agency supports its clients end-to-end, from the strategic analysis of their needs through to the full management of speaking engagements. Needs Assessment

Needs Assessment

A good speaker is first chosen based on their strategic fit with your event. During this listening phase, we meet with you to understand your specific needs:

  • What is the primary objective of your event: to inspire, reassure, entertain…?
  • Who is your audience: size and profile?
  • Which theme would you like to highlight?
  • Is there any particular context we should know and take into account: reorganization, merger, launch, year-end review, etc.?
  • What format are you looking for? Conference, panel discussion, workshop, interview with a moderator?
Selection Phase

Selection Phase

Based on your answers, we move to the selection phase. We identify three speakers for you according to several criteria: their availability, their ability to engage your audience, their fees, and their reliability throughout the preparation process.

These three speakers are presented to you with, for each of them, their biographies, topics, references if needed, and an estimate of the total cost of the engagement (fees, travel, and expenses).

We also offer to arrange an initial interview of about half an hour with each of them so that you can make your choice with full knowledge of the facts.

Booking and Contracting

Booking & Contracting Phase

Once you have made your choice, we move to the booking and contracting phase. A booking is not just a verbal "yes" — it confirms the hold placed on the date and venue and also initiates the contracting process.

This process follows clear rules that formalize the final commitment and establish obligations for both the event organizer and the speaker: duration, fees, cancellation and postponement clauses, image and recording rights, payment terms, etc. Its role is to protect the client experience and reduce surprises — not to intimidate.

Event Preparation & Debrief

The goal of the preparation phase is to ensure a performance perfectly aligned with the brief. We recommend two types of meetings:

  • A framing meeting to clarify objectives, key messages, internal context, and any remarks or attitudes that must be avoided.
  • A content meeting: angle, structure, examples, level of technicality, call-to-action, and alignment with the overall event. This meeting establishes milestones: validation of the title, synopsis, run-of-show, then delivery of slides if needed.

Following the event, we contact you for a brief debrief to confirm that the intervention was useful, aligned with the brief, and delivered on its promises to your audience.
