An engineer turned mentalist

Before taking to the stage, Alex Si worked for nearly fifteen years in IT, notably at Orange, Société Générale and BNP Paribas Asset Management. Used to complex environments, he developed a talent for making technical subjects accessible and linking them to business realities.

When magic meets the brain

Passionate about magic and mentalism, he trained at the McBride Magic & Mystery School in Las Vegas, becoming an Ambassador of the school in 2018. He gradually developed an approach in which illusion is no longer merely a show: it becomes a way of understanding how our brain constructs its own reality.

Experiencing biases to understand them better

On stage, Alex Si creates interactive conference-shows on cognitive biases, perception, memory and decision-making. The audience first experiences the traps set by their own brains before discovering the mechanisms behind them and the tools to outsmart them.

From illusion to decision

In 2022, he published Cerveau menteur ! – Déjouez les pièges de la prise de décision with Diateino. Drawing on cognitive psychology, mentalism experiments and 27 practical tools, he helps leaders, managers and teams question their certainties, analyse situations more effectively and make decisions with greater clarity.
