Biography
Rethinking value creation
Aurélien Pasquier works with business leaders who want to move beyond models based solely on volume growth. A specialist in the functional and cooperative economy, he shows how to shift from selling a product to selling its use, a service or an outcome, while strengthening customer relationships and reducing resource consumption.
More than twenty years of entrepreneurial experience
In 2002, Aurélien Pasquier founded Everest, a pioneering agency in responsible digital practices, where, among other things, he developed lean, eco-designed websites. He then transformed the agency’s model in line with the principles of the functional economy before selling the company in 2022.
ADAPTABLE: experimenting with a different model
Co-founder of ADAPTABLE, Aurélien Pasquier now develops professional furniture made from reused and upcycled materials. The company also offers rental solutions, putting into practice the principles of the circular economy and of selling use rather than the product itself.
Lessons from the field
Aurélien Pasquier contributed to a study of 25 companies engaged in the functional and cooperative economy. In his talks, he shares the benefits, but also the practical difficulties encountered when transforming a business model.
A speaker focused on action
A TEDx speaker, Aurélien Pasquier has given more than 150 talks in ten years. He combines entrepreneurial experience, concrete examples and practical tools to encourage participants to experiment, cooperate and take action.
Sustainable performance begins when we stop selling objects to deliver useful value.
