Biography
Axel Allétru is an athlete, keynote speaker and author whose journey illustrates resilience and the ability to turn an ordeal into a new beginning.
From elite sport to rebuilding
European champion and junior world runner-up in BMX, he went on to become one of France’s brightest motocross prospects. In 2010, an accident during a Grand Prix in Latvia left him paraplegic at just twenty years old.
After intensive rehabilitation, he regained partial mobility with crutches and rebuilt himself through para swimming. He won twelve national titles before returning to motorsport and winning the 2020 Dakar Rally in the SSV category.
Turning adversity into an action plan
In his keynotes, Axel Allétru does more than tell an extraordinary story. He shares a concrete method: accept reality, visualise the goal, progress step by step and surround yourself with the right team to build a new trajectory.
Mental strength as a daily discipline
His journey shows that performance does not rest on a single heroic effort, but on routines, rigorous preparation, mental discipline and the ability to persevere when results are slow to come.
Making disability a collective lever
Axel Allétru invites organisations to take a different view of limitations. Disability becomes a catalyst for adaptability, innovation, cooperation and responsible leadership.
Axel Allétru turns his journey as a champion and a man rebuilt after adversity into a practical method for overcoming failure, regaining direction and taking action when the impossible seems to stand in the way.
