Biography
An engineer, entrepreneur and speaker, Pascale Lefebure puts science at the service of one conviction: when it comes to the major environmental challenges, the solutions often already exist — but you still need to know how to identify, understand and apply them.
A solutions-driven scientist
An engineer in biotechnology and the environment, Pascale Lefebure started out in pollution-control R&D before spending several years working for the French Ministries of Defence and the Interior on the assessment of emerging technologies. There she acquired a rare breadth of knowledge, at the crossroads of science, innovation and foresight.
From Earth to space
Her career then took her to the United States, where she worked for the United Nations on the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. Trained in aerospace project management at ISAE-SUPAERO, she joined the space industry, worked on life sciences in microgravity and became a mentor for UNOOSA’s Space4Women programme.
Turning ecology into action
Back in France, she develops projects around sufficiency, the circular economy and resource preservation. In particular, she created the Water Performance Diagnostic (Diagnostic de Performance Eau), a pioneering approach that measures a building’s consumption and identifies achievable savings.
A speaker who gets out into the field
Pascale Lefebure does not simply talk about the transition: she seeks out innovations, tests them and explains them. Through her Sustainability Mystery channel and the content she has produced, in particular around ChangeNOW, she shows how technology, science and new practices can make the transition more concrete, accessible and desirable.
Solutions can be simple and accessible.
