Biography
Benjamin Adrion recounts how an idea can become a movement, and then a genuine economic and social model.
From football to a mission
A former professional player with FC St. Pauli, Benjamin Adrion had a moment of revelation during a trip to Cuba in 2005. He decided to devote his energy to a single goal: water for all.
Turning an idea into a movement
He launched Viva con Agua with an original conviction: commitment can spring from joy, sport, music and culture. Around water, an international community and a whole ecosystem of projects gradually took shape.
Where impact and business meet
Viva con Agua does not stop at the non-profit model. Benjamin Adrion developed social businesses, up to and including Villa Viva, a hotel concept that combines economic activity with social impact. Concrete proof that profit and purpose are not necessarily at odds.
From Ego-System to Eco-System
His approach to leadership rests on trust, autonomy and the power of networks. For him, a leader's role is not to control everything, but to create the conditions that allow the collective to grow without them.
From the football field to waterfields: Benjamin Adrion transforms commitment into tangible access to dignity.
