Biography
Chandrou Koumar is a journalist, event host, science communicator and PhD in neuroscience. For more than ten years, he has built a career at the crossroads of science, media, events and audiovisual production.
Bringing knowledge to life
With a PhD in neuroscience, he knows research from the inside. He chose science journalism early on in order to make complex knowledge understandable without oversimplifying it.
A journalist who brings ideas to the surface
A former journalist and health editor-in-chief at Brut., he has also worked with France 5, France 3, France Info, Radio Nova and Libération. His interviewing experience helps him challenge, clarify and reveal the essential ideas behind a subject or a guest.
An experienced event host
Chandrou has hosted more than one hundred conventions, seminars and conferences. He works as a master of ceremonies, panel moderator, interviewer, live host and presenter of filmed programmes, and can also help shape the editorial thread before the event.
From stage to camera
Producer and head of Prod DE OUF, he understands filming, live production, digital formats and social media. He hosts live programmes and science formats, including Inserm's award-winning podcast Les Volontaires.
