Biography

A scientist turned entrepreneur

A telecom engineer, PhD in computational physics from the Australian National University and HEC Paris MBA graduate, Albert Meige has built a career at the crossroads of research, entrepreneurship and strategy. He founded Presans, an open-innovation platform using artificial intelligence to connect companies with leading experts, which received École Polytechnique's Innovation Award.

At the heart of technological futures

After Presans joined Arthur D. Little in 2020, he became a Partner at the firm and took charge of Blue Shift, its global technology foresight institute. Together with his teams, he explores disruption linked to generative AI, quantum technologies, the industrial metaverse and exponential technologies, assessing their consequences for business, society and humanity.

Extreme experience as a decision-making laboratory

An ultra-endurance athlete, Albert Meige covered 360 kilometres and 26,000 metres of elevation gain across the Swiss Alps in almost six days. In Kilometre 360, he turns this experience of fatigue, doubt and continuous adaptation into a practical reflection on resilience, intuition and decision-making when familiar reference points disappear.

A speaker combining science, storytelling and magic

An author, lecturer and international speaker, he has delivered more than one hundred talks to executives, teams and students. Having taught at institutions including HEC Paris, ESCP, École Polytechnique, Mines-Télécom and Sciences Po, he makes the most complex subjects accessible. His practice of magic gives his talks a distinctive dimension, exposing cognitive biases and opening new ways to think and innovate.
