Biography

Trained as a psychologist, entrepreneur and international speaker, Klaus Hansen draws on his Danish-French experience to offer a different perspective on leadership, engagement and transformation.

From Denmark to the business world

Originally from Denmark, Klaus Hansen studied psychology before moving to England to work as a business consultant. He later settled in France, where he ran an institutional communications agency for more than ten years. His clients included the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, the Palais des Festivals in Cannes and Veolia Eau, giving him first-hand insight into organisations, management and human dynamics.

Trust before control

Working across two professional cultures led him to a fundamental observation: the strongest organisations are not necessarily those that control the most, but those that create enough trust for people to take responsibility. His approach draws on Danish principles such as autonomy, trust, simplicity, dialogue, ownership and balance.

A deeply human approach to leadership

For Klaus Hansen, kindness and high standards are not opposites. Empathy, recognition and listening create the conditions in which people are more willing to take initiative, propose solutions and own their decisions. His talks explore the links between conscious leadership, emotional intelligence, trust, ownership and collective performance.

A speaker who gets people involved

Storytelling, humour, positive psychology, audience interaction and practical exercises shape his sessions. Klaus Hansen does not simply share ideas: he invites participants to question their behaviours and experiment with new ways of thinking, deciding and working together. Every talk is adapted to the organisation, its objectives and its audience.

Trust before control: unlock autonomy, ownership and performance.

Through his talks, Klaus Hansen translates the Danish principles of trust, autonomy and responsibility into practical approaches to leadership, change and collective performance.

01

Leading with Trust: trust as a new form of leadership

Create the conditions for others to succeed instead of trying to control everything.

What if the leader's role was no longer to control, but to create the conditions in which others can succeed? Drawing on the Danish model and his own leadership experience, Klaus Hansen explores an approach based on trust, autonomy, listening and ownership. He shows how leaders can maintain high performance standards while giving people more room to decide, experiment and take responsibility.

  • Build leadership based on trust
  • Give autonomy without losing collective direction
  • Create the conditions for individual responsibility
  • Move from control to ownership
Ideal for Executives, managers, international teams and leadership seminars
Format Keynote or Workshop · 45 to 90 min
02

Ownership: moving from “I have to” to “I choose to act”

Responsibility becomes powerful when it turns into initiative.

Why do some teams wait for decisions while others naturally take initiative? For Klaus Hansen, ownership begins when people understand what is genuinely within their control. This session explores the difference between being given responsibility and personally owning the outcome. Participants are encouraged to identify their sphere of influence and move from waiting for answers to actively seeking solutions.

  • Strengthen individual responsibility
  • Encourage initiative
  • Move beyond a culture of excuses
  • Shift from problems to solution-focused thinking
Ideal for Teams, managers, cultural transformations and matrix organisations
Format Keynote or Workshop · 60 to 120 min
03

Leading with Kindness: being human without lowering standards

Kindness does not weaken leadership: it creates the trust that high standards require.

Can leaders be deeply human while still demanding results? For Klaus Hansen, the answer is yes. Drawing on psychology, leadership experience and Scandinavian management culture, he shows how empathy, listening, recognition and respect can become powerful leadership tools. Kindness creates the trust required to have difficult conversations, give honest feedback and help teams grow.

  • Develop managerial empathy
  • Build greater psychological safety
  • Give feedback with both honesty and respect
  • Strengthen the quality of professional relationships
Ideal for Managers, HR teams, international teams and organisations in transformation
Format Keynote or Workshop · 45 to 90 min

Change Starts with Us: navigate change in order to lead it

Change becomes possible when people reconnect with their ability to act.

Organizations change, but organizational change only becomes real when people change the way they think and act. Klaus Hansen offers a human approach to change based on perception, mindset and the ability to distinguish what we can influence from what we must accept. Instead of being overwhelmed by uncertainty, participants are encouraged to reconnect with their capacity to act and develop a solution-focused mindset.

  • Understand our reactions to change
  • Develop a solution-focused mindset
  • Focus on our sphere of influence
  • Turn uncertainty into a capacity for action
Ideal for Transformation programmes, organisational change, project teams and managers
Format Keynote or Workshop · 60 to 120 min
