Biography

Une carrière au cœur de l’économie internationale

Diplômée de l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne en économie et finances internationales, Véronique Riches-Flores débute sa carrière en 1986 à l’Observatoire français des conjonctures économiques (OFCE), avant de rejoindre le CEPME, prédécesseur de Bpifrance, en qualité de cheffe économiste de la direction financière.

En 1994, elle intègre Société Générale, où elle occupe pendant dix-huit ans des fonctions de premier plan dans la recherche économique. Successivement cheffe économiste de Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB), puis responsable mondiale de la recherche économique thématique, elle étudie les interactions entre croissance, marchés financiers, politiques monétaires et transformations structurelles de l’économie mondiale.

L’indépendance intellectuelle au cœur de sa démarche

En 2012, Véronique Riches-Flores fonde RichesFlores Research, une société indépendante spécialisée dans la recherche macroéconomique et financière internationale. Convaincue que les évolutions économiques ne peuvent être comprises à travers les seuls indicateurs conjoncturels, elle développe une approche associant analyse des cycles, tendances structurelles et prospective.

Son indépendance lui permet de questionner les consensus de marché, d’explorer des scénarios alternatifs et de porter un regard critique sur les mécanismes économiques dominants.

En 2024, elle cofonde Kaleïs360 aux côtés de deux spécialistes de l’analyse technique et fondamentale. Cette initiative réunit trois expertises complémentaires afin d’offrir aux professionnels de l’investissement une lecture globale des marchés et de leurs perspectives.

Décrypter les grandes mutations de l’économie mondiale

Inflation, endettement, mondialisation, rivalités géopolitiques, vieillissement démographique, transition écologique ou intelligence artificielle : Véronique Riches-Flores analyse les grandes forces qui redessinent les équilibres économiques et financiers.

Elle intervient également dans des conférences économiques, des rencontres professionnelles et des programmes de formation spécialisés, notamment auprès de l’AUREP. Elle est par ailleurs l’auteure de L’Économie britannique depuis 1945, publié aux éditions La Découverte dans la collection « Repères ».
