Holder of a PhD in computer science from Université Paris VI and accredited to supervise research, she worked in industry before joining INRIA and then CentraleSupélec. She built expertise in business intelligence, machine learning, semantic technologies and extracting value from data.
From 2008 to 2014, she headed the SAP Business Intelligence industrial chair at CentraleSupélec, bridging academic research, technological innovation and the concrete challenges faced by companies.
In 2016, she founded DATARVEST to support organisations in their data and artificial intelligence strategies. Her conviction: start from business needs and the value sought before choosing technologies.
A contributor to Hub France IA and independent expert for the European Commission, Marie-Aude Aufaure now works on trustworthy AI, governance, scaling up and measuring the value created. Involved in Convention AI Versailles – CAIV2026, she addresses a major challenge: moving from experiments and PoCs to uses that organisations genuinely adopt.
