Quality of Life at Work

Why involve an expert in quality of work life?
  • • Improve talent engagement and retention
  • • Identify and address organizational dysfunctions
  • • Align performance with working conditions
  • • Strengthen sustainability and collective efficiency

Quality of work life (QWL) is still too often approached from the perspective of well-being or material conditions. At the level of a COMEX, this view is insufficient. QWL is primarily a strategic lever directly linked to performance, engagement, and execution capacity. An organization that operates poorly cannot be corrected by peripheral initiatives: it must be addressed at its root, in its modes of operation.

The determinants of QWL are actually structural. Clarity of objectives, quality of management, coherence of decisions, controlled workload, readability of priorities: these are the elements that condition the actual quality of the employee experience. When these fundamentals are fragile, symptoms appear quickly — disengagement, turnover, internal tensions, loss of effectiveness. QWL thus becomes a reliable indicator of organizational health.

The challenge is to move away from a cosmetic approach to enter into a management logic. It is not about adding devices, but about understanding how the organization produces — or degrades — the working conditions. How to align performance and sustainability? How to identify the organizational irritants that hinder execution? How to create an environment where teams can be both engaged and effective over time?

Bringing in an expert in quality of work life means repositioning the subject at the right level: that of the overall functioning of the organization. The participants rely on concrete diagnostics, feedback, and operational approaches to connect human issues to performance realities. They allow a shift from a declarative vision to a precise understanding of the mechanisms at play.

Each intervention is designed as a moment of clarification and alignment. It helps to structure coherent actions, to address the causes rather than the symptoms, and to sustainably strengthen the quality of collective functioning. The goal: to make your event a lever for transformation, by making QWL not a peripheral subject, but a pillar of sustainable performance.
